Frequently asked questions

Is this PDF splitter free?
Yes. The tool is completely free to use with no hidden limits.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. The PDF is read, split, and generated locally using pdf-lib in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server.
How do I enter page ranges?
Use commas to separate individual pages and a hyphen for ranges. For example: 1, 3, 5-8.
What happens if I leave the page field blank?
If you leave the field blank, the tool will extract all pages from the PDF into a single new document (essentially copying the entire file).
Does splitting reduce the quality of my PDF?
No. The pages are extracted directly from the original document without re-encoding, so text and images remain identical.
Do you offer Cash on Delivery?
This is a digital tool, so Cash on Delivery does not apply. The tool is free to use online.
